Police named two perpetrators of London attack

London police announced the names of two of three perpetrators of June 3 terrorist act, according to BBC.

They are Khuram Butt, 27, and Rachid Redouane, 30. Both of them lived in East London.

Butt was born in Pakistan, but had a British passport. Redouane’s origin is not specified yet. He called himself Moroccan and Libyan, but used various birth dates and names.

Khuram Shahzad Butt had been known to police and MI5. However, there were no data about the upcoming attack. Another attacked — Rachid Redouane — was not known by the special services.

Three attackers were killed by police. The name of the third perpetrator is not announced yet.

It is noteworthy that law enforcement officers are conducting searches in various areas of London. Police informed that they have detained "a number of people" in the eastern districts of Newham and Barking.

Thus, 11 people were arrested in Barking after the raids. According to some data, one of the attackers lived in one of the locations being searched.

As it was reported earlier, two terrorist acts took place during the night of 4 June in London. 7 people were killed, 48 got injured.
