In the Kherson region, law enforcement officers discovered and seized a hemp plantation from 2,000 bushes worth 2 million dollars. The press service of the National Police of Ukraine in the Kherson region reported this.

"Two residents of the Luhansk region, aged 20 and 38, were involved in the crime. They cultivated elite varieties of marijuana on the hunting grounds in the Oleshkivskyi district. The attackers used drip irrigation to grow drug plants,” the police said.

At the place of residence of the defendants, law enforcement officers conducted searches, during which cannabis, mobile phones, and SIM cards were seized.

The intruders were informed about the suspicion of committing a crime under Part 2 of Art. 310 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine "Sowing or cultivation of sleeping poppy or hemp."

As we reported before, a man has been apprehended in the Chernihiv region, northern Ukraine. The culprit made a drug lab from his living house and a yard. He also stored a significant amount of drugs and an unregistered gun.
