Ukraine's law enforcement officers exposed two people who were transporting illegal immigrants from Russia to the countries of the European Union through Ukraine. The persons have already been informed of the suspicion. The press service of the prosecutor's office of the Kyiv region reported that.

"The pre-trial investigation established that a criminal group operated in the territory of the city of Kyiv and other regions of Ukraine. Their activities were to organize the illegal movement of illegal migrants from the territory of the Russian Federation to Ukraine, and then to the EU countries," the message says.

The group members brought migrants to rented apartments in their own cars, and provided their accommodation and nutrition. Later they transported migrants to the western regions of Ukraine for the purpose of illegal transportation across the state border.

Law enforcement officers conducted 20 searches in the territory of Kyiv, Zakkarpatia, Odesa and Khmelnytsky regions.

As we reported before, the State Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has exposed a criminal group that illegally organized a migration channel for people from the Middle East through forgery.
