According to Interior Minister, detainee’s DNA coincided with DNA on weapon thrown at crime scene

January 12, the National Police detained a group of killers suspected of killing ATO veteran Amina Okueva. Interior Minister Arsen Avakov stated this information on Facebook.

"Today, the National Police detained a group of killers reasonably suspected of a number of murders including Amina’s murder. The detainee’s DNA coincided with the DNA on the weapons thrown at the crime scene. Investigations are ongoing. I thank the police for their service," Avakov wrote.

Also, the prosecutor's office noted that on the account of the criminals two more contract killings committed in September 2016 and in January 2019, which were disclosed.

Currently, investigative actions are ongoing, measures are being taken to detain all participants in the criminal organization and to establish customers.

As we reported earlier, Ukraine extradited to militants Artur Denisultanov who was accused of an attempted assassination of Chechen volunteers who took part in hostilities in Donbas on the side of forces of Anti-Terrorist Operation Adam Osmaev and his wife Amina Okueva.
