Dozens of people were detained by law enforcement officers near the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, reports Hromadske.
"In Kyiv, near the entrance to the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, police special forces surrounded and then detained about 30 young people for unknown reasons," the report said.
It is noted that the situation near the church is calm, those wishing to visit the monastery complex passed by the police and went inside without interference.
At the same time, RBC-Ukraine reports that police detained 122 people.
"A group of 66 people was sent to the district police station, where officers will check the documents and send them home. The rest still stand in front of the entrance to the monastery, they were blocked by the soldiers of the special-purpose police regiment," the publication said.
The police have not yet commented on this information.
