In Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk region, law enforcement officers engaged in criminal activities: they collaborated with drug dealers and other criminals. Minister of Interior Affairs Arsen Avakov stated this, according to the website of the department.

“Starting from today, we begin the total development of the region,” Arsen Avakov said.

The Minister emphasized that this is not only about the Pavlohrad police department, but also about other law enforcement agencies of the region.

"That is why we will look at this problem in a very comprehensive way - at interaction with all authorities and among themselves. I’m fundamentally not happy with the spread of drugs, both in the whole Dnipropetrovsk region and in the Pavlohrad district," he stressed.

The Minister of Internal Affairs noted that Deputy Minister Oleksandr Gogilashvili will separately coordinate issues related to the fight against drug crime in the region.

The head of the National Police Ihor Klymenko decided to reformat the Pavlograd police department along with the four divisions included in it.

Deputy Chairman of the National Police Vadym Troyan will head the operational headquarters, which will conduct activities for the development of crime in the region.

Separately, investigative and search actions will be carried out, and individuals who have established the illegal supply of weapons and ammunition will be identified.
