Poland sends 20 trucks with medical humanitarian aid to Ukraine

Poland has sent to Ukraine 20 cargo trucks with humanitarian aid necessary for the fight against Covid-19 in the sign of solidarity as the press service of the Polish president reported.

The humanitarian column should provide to Ukraine the medical equipment, disinfections means, and means of individual protection, as well as tests for antigens.

On August 18, the drivers of the truck had the instruction in Biala Podlaska.

Deputy Head of Chancellery of Polish President Pieter Svik reported that the aid is provided within the Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Centre (EADRCC NATO) in cooperation with the Foreign Ministry, State Agency of Strategic Reserves, Fund of the International Solidarity and mail of Poland.

As we reported, 500,000 foreigners have a residence permit in Poland, 277,000 are citizens of Ukraine.
