It is assumed that the harmful substances entered the water supply system after heavy rains on October 23 and 24.
The company in charge of drinking water said that the results of the tests have yet to be "confirmed" because the water samples in the tanks from which the water is taken are allegedly within normal limits. Despite this fact, the residents of Kruja were asked not to drink water from household containers.
