Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny got out of bed and began to walk a little. He spoke about his health on his Facebook page, posting a photo from the German clinic Charite.

"Let me tell you how my recovery is going. This is already a clear road, albeit not a short one. All current problems like the fact that the phone in my hands is useless like a stone, and pouring myself some water turns into a whole attraction, are sheer nonsense ... Now I'm a guy whose legs are shaking when he walks up the stairs, but he thinks: "Oh, this is the stairs! People climb along it. Perhaps we need to look for an elevator." But before, I would have just stood and watched," Navalny wrote.

The oppositionist also added that he still needs rehabilitation, but the main problems are behind.

"There are still many problems to be solved, but the amazing doctors at the Charite University Hospital in Berlin decided the main thing. They turned me from a" technically alive person "into someone who has every chance of becoming the Highest Form of Being in Modern Society again - a person who can quickly scroll through Instagram and without thinking he understands where to put likes," he said.

Earlier Alexei Navalny published his first photo from the hospital on Instagram on September 15. In a post, he said that for the first time he breathed on his own all day.

Russian opposition politician Alexei Navalny was nominated for Nobel Peace Prize as Professor of New Jersey Rutgers University Sergei Erofeev reported on Facebook.

“There is more news about Alexei Navalny: today, a number of professors of recognised universities who deal with Russia nominated him for Nobel Peace Prize. It is not a new idea but it became more relevant and should receive wide response,” Erofeev wrote.

He noted that the scientists started the initiative to nominate the oppositionists. According to Erofeev, the professors might be supported by the government officials or representatives of the international organizations. The scientists also said that some people negatively treated the activity of Navalny earlier but they changed their minds.
