“Today we have responded to the information, which is spread all over the world about the epidemic of coronavirus. We have made a decision today, a very clear actions plan of what should be done. The operational headquarters at the level of the Healthcare Ministry and headed by the minister is already created. We are communicating actively with the WHO during the last days,” Honcharuk said.
According to the PM, as for today, there are no grounds for worrying in Ukraine.
“There is no confirmed spotted case of such disease in the territory of Ukraine. Today, the coordination session will take place between all services, which provide the control over the crossing of border to monitor and prevent entering of the virus to the territory of Ukraine. I am talking about the border and customs service, about bodies of health and disease control services,’ the premier added.
Earlier, the National Health Commission of China stated that the number of infections by new lethal coronavirus increased up to 830 people.
According to Chinese authorities, as of the morning, January 24, 25 fatalities due to the coronavirus were spotted.
Earlier, a 59-year-old man died from botulism in Ukraine. On the eve, a man ate homemade canned pork. It was severe acute disease and the state of the patient deteriorated after serum infusion and three surgeries.
