On Thursday, August 6, an Air Europa flight made an emergency landing in Malaga due to a Ukrainian citizen who refused to wear a face shield, El Periodico news agency reports.
"In connection with the refusal of a passenger, the citizen of Ukraine, to follow the instructions of the crew, which" repeatedly "suggested that he put on a mask, the corresponding protocol (emergency landing, - 112 International) was activated," the message says.
This information was also confirmed by the Association of Dispatchers of Spain. The department noted that the plane requested a landing at Malaga airport due to the passenger's refusal to follow the instructions of the crew.
In addition, it is reported that a Ukrainian citizen was flying with visible signs of alcohol intoxication. After the transfer of the offender to the agents of the Civil Guard, the plane went to Madrid.
As we reported before, this year, a tourist flow in Spain has decreased by 97.7 percent in comparison with summer 2019. The reason is the ongoing pandemic of coronavirus (Covid-19).
