The police of the Rivne region opened criminal proceedings on the fact of land pollution. We are talking about pink puddles with chemicals near the city of Rivne. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

"On the fact of land contamination with substances harmful to human life, health or the environment, investigators of department No. 1 of the Rivne district police department added information into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under Part 1 of Art. 239 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine," the message says.

Policemen said that yesterday they received information about the discharge of a substance of unknown origin in a field near the village of Kolodenka.

On the ground, which is served by one of the agricultural holdings, the police investigative team found a pink substance on an area of ​​635.8 square meters.

Employees of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine, the Environmental and the State Consumer Service also worked at the scene. Experts took soil samples for appropriate examinations.

On July 22, puddles with rose water were found in the village of Kolodenka, Rivne region. Specialists of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and ecologists arrived at the scene.

It was found that one of the agricultural producers left the remains of liquid of unknown origin during the processing of the land.

Rescuers later reported that the liquid turned out to be a pest control chemical.
