Photographer Christopher Makos will present his photos of bohemian New York of 1970-80s, meet guests

At the photo exhibition An outward glance: Christopher Makos on Andy Warhol’s epoch, works by famous American photographer and close friend to the artist Christopher Makos will be presented for the first time in Ukraine.  The exhibition will consist of two parts. The first part will display 20 photos by Makos depicting bohemian New York of 1970-80s, when pop-art and punk were at their prime. The second part includes eight works from Altered Images series, portraying Andy Warhol in his feminine alter ego. Apart from Warhol, Makos photographed such contemporary art and pop-culture icons as Salvador Dali, John Lennon, Mick Jagger, Liza Minnelli,Keith Haring, Basquia, Divine and many others. The photographer will visit Kyiv and meet guests at the exhibition on July 21, the second day of the exhibit.
