American Pfizer Company informed the White House that it could not supply a sufficient number of extra doses of vaccine against coronavirus until the end of June or July 2021, as Washington Post reported.
Other states have already purchased the most of stock. It means that the American government, possibly, would not be able to increase the supplies of the Pfizer vaccine as quickly as it was planned.
It causes doubts whether or not the authorities of American would be able to stick to the schedule and hold vaccination of the majority of the citizens until the end of spring or beginning of summer.
Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the vaccination against coronavirus will start in the United States next week.
As we reported, the administration of German Chancellor Angela Merkel expects that the vaccination from the Covid-19 will start in the country in the early days of the new year.
