People with suspicion for coronavirus will be transported by helicopter in Ukraine. The aircraft participated in the UN peacekeeping missions as Interior Minister of Ukraine Arsen Avakov reported.

The helicopter was passed to the Emergency Service under conditions of cost-free contract and the crew and medical staff of the helicopter were specially trained.

“These people worked during the Ebola epidemic – they fulfilled works on the evacuation of diseased and held rescue operations. The helicopter may carry four-six ill people at once. The evacuation is possible at the distance of 1,200 km, in other words, all over out country,” Avakov said.

The helicopter is equipped with isolation capsule, bio-proof kits, disinfection shower, isolation cell with a special module, which holds the capsule during the flight.

Meanwhile, no cases of Covid-19 were spotted in Ukraine.

As we reported, Ukrzaliznytsia, Ukraine's state railroad enterprise has developed an operative plan of preventive steps so as to avoid the spreading of Chinese coronavirus, or CoVID-2019 in the country.

Besides, molecular-genetic studies did not detect COVID-19 coronavirus infection among 89 Ukrainians who are under observation in Novi Sanzhary.
