"This is where we see the target of the attack - the place where Baghdadi was hiding. As I noted earlier, this isolated house was located in Idlib province in Northwestern Syria," General Frank Mackenzie said.
U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed that leader of the terrorist organization ISIS Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was killed during the special operation held by the American military in the north-east of Syria as Fox News reported on Facebook.
“ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is dead,” Trump said.
He confirmed that Baghdadi detonated an explosive vest when he understood that he cannot hide from the military. Two women and three children died with him. There are no casualties among the American military.
As we reported earlier, Abdullah Qardash is known as Hajji Abdullah al-Afari, was appointed as the head of the ISIS Muslim affairs group by Baghdadi in August. However, he was never publicly endorsed by the group.
