Ukrainians who receive a pension of less than $200, during quarantine relating to the coronavirus, will receive a surcharge of $40. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated this in a video message on the spread of coronavirus in Ukraine.
"Citizens who receive a pension of less than 5 thousand hryvnia should receive a surcharge of $40," - Zelensky said.
It is also noted that in the near future the authorities expect from the NBU, the Ministry of Finance, state and commercial banks - a quarantine program for loans for small and medium-sized businesses, as well as the concept of tax changes.
As we reported before, Ukraine will set up a coordination council on countering the spread of Covid-2019. It will be headed by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
"In order to strengthen the protection of the population, to urgently implement measures on counteracting the spread of Covid-19 in Ukraine, in accordance with paragraph 28 of Part 1 of Article 106 of the Constitution of Ukraine, I hereby establish a coordination council to counteract the spread of Covid-19,” the text of decree says.
