Pechersk District Court annuls seizure of Tedis Ukraine bank accounts

Pechersk District Court annulled seizure of the bank accounts of the tobacco distributor Tedis Ukraine in PrivatBank and Raiffeisen Bank Aval on May, 5. It is reported in the court decision #757/21694/17-k that is published in the Unified State Register of Court Decisions.

The request to unlock the bank accounts was filed by Dmytro Donyk the Deputy Director General of Tedis Ukraine. 

The Pechersk District Court decided to seize the equity rights of the company and prohibited founding parties and workers of Tedis Ukraine to dispose them in any way on April 3. On April 5, it was decided to seize the cash n PrivatBank.

According to the prosecutor’s office, the owner of the Tedis is Igor Kesaev, the citizen of Russia. National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine applied sanctions for withdrawal of money abroad Ukraine against Kesaev. The law enforcements informed that company’s management coordinated all decisions with the member of the board of directors of Russian Degtyarev Plant. This plant is one of the arms producers for the occupied territories of Donets and Luhansk.

Earlier Yuriy Lutsenko General Prosecutor of Ukraine claimed that tobacco distributor Tedis Ukraine paid out 11.3 milliondollars of penalty to the state budget.
