Honorary Patriarch of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine Filaret was diagnosed with pneumonia, according to Filaret's Facebook page.
"We inform you that the state of health of Patriarch Filaret is satisfactory. Pneumonia was diagnosed," the message says.
As we reported before, Patriarch Filaret has got infected with the coronavirus.
"We would like to inform you that His Holiness Patriarch of Kyiv and All Russia-Ukraine Filaret was diagnosed with Covid-19 during scheduled testing," the statement reads.
Earlier, the World Health Organization (WHO) stated that the large-scale vaccination against Covid-19 would take place not earlier than in mid-2021.
“A lot of people have been vaccinated and what we don’t know whether the vaccine works…at this stage we do not have the clear signal of whether or not it has the level of worthwhile efficacy and safety,” WHO Spokesperson Margaret Harris added.
According to her, any vaccine-candidate showed a ‘clear signal’ about at least 50% efficiency during the clinical trials.
Also, In Ukraine, 2,836 new patients with coronavirus were registered per day, while the total number of infected during the pandemic reached 133,787 people.
