Part of occupied Crimea left without power on November 16 because of power line protection systems. Krym.Realii reports this citing Krymenergy.

The emergency shutdown of light happened in three districts: Bakhchysarai, Dzhankoy and Nizhnegorskiy.

According to information of the enterprise, the light is missing in Novopillya, Putylivka, Polyana, Bahata Ushchelyna in Bakhchysarai District and partially in Bakhchysarai. The emergency shutdown occurred in Zhilino, Marine, Ordenonosne and Lobanove in Dzhankoy District, Korinne and Novohryhorivka in Nizhnegorskiy District.

As it was reported earlier, the U.S. authorities pressed charges against 12 Russians who are suspected of hacking email accounts of the Democratic Party leaders during the presidential election campaign in 2016. According to the investigation, the officers of the Russian Main Intelligence Directorate were included in the list. They are accused of organizing the cyber-attacks, hacking the mailboxes, stealing the documents and their further spreading in the network.

On October 7, 2015, Petro Poroshenko signed a relevant order. The international organizations recognized Russia’s occupation of Crimea and condemned its actions. Western states imposed sanctions against Russia, which in its turn, denies the occupation of the peninsula and calls it a “restoration of the historical justice”.
