A part of Crimea is left without internet and connection due to the accident on the fiber optic line Temryuk – Kerch. Kryminform reported that on Friday, June 30, citing “the ministry” of internal policy, information and connection of the occupants.

“The access to internet is limited for the customers who are in roaming of LLC K-Telecom (WIN-Mobile trade mark) and LLC KTK Telecom (Volna Mmobile trade mark), the speed of the access is cut for the subscribers of the majority of internet providers and inter-city telephone connections of the landline telephone communication operators,” reads the message of the institution.

According to the sources of the outlet, the fiber line break could have happened because of the cable damage by the workers of the Tavrida route being constructed. However, the “ministry” of transport of the occupied Crimea reported the workers have nothing to do with this.

Currently, the repair crews are performing repair works. The “ministry” of internal policy reported they plan to restore the access before 6 p.m. on Friday.
