Part of Crimea left without electricity due to bad weather and accident at power grid

On March 1, several settlements in Crimea were left without electricity due to bad weather conditions and accidents. This is reported by Krym.Realii.

“As of 4 p.m. (in Crimea), the Krymenergo distribution company enterprise reported on a partial power outage in Kerch. Lenino and Kalynivka villages of the Leninsky district, Krasnaya Polyana and Vnukovo villages of the Black Sea region, Koltsovo village of Saksky district are also left without electricity. The power outage happened due to the strong wind," as said in a statement.

During the day, Armiansk, Krasnoperekopsk, and partially Yevpatoria remained without electricity. The reason is power grid accident. Residents of Yevpatoria also suffered from a lack of water.

The corresponding bodies of Russia's Ministry of Energy did not report a massive blackout in Crimea.

Crimea has suffered a total power blackout on June 13, 2018 after an incident at a Russian power station. According to the media and information from Crimean power companies, the outage embraced Bakhchysarai, Yalta, Simferopil, Yevpatoria, and other Crimean cities. The blackout disrupted the services of the two mobile carriers.
