Currently, the draft law has been submitted to the management for consideration.

As we reported before, Instagram and Facebook announced the blocking of all posts on social networks that promote the so-called conversion therapy - that is, a change in the person’s sexual orientation towards heterosexuality.

Later, in a comment by The Verge, a Facebook spokesman said that blocking content on conversion therapy will affect this social network as well.

"We do not allow attacks on people based on their sexual orientation or gender identity, so we update our policies to prohibit the promotion of conversion therapy services," she said.

Conversion therapy is prohibited in some states of the USA, but not in the whole country. Former British Prime Minister Theresa May promised to ban conversion therapy back in 2018, but this never happened.
