Moldavian law enforcers revealed an illegal paramilitary formation linked to the militants of the terrorist organization Luhansk and Donetsk People’s Republics, as Moldova’s Information and Security Service reports.

The members of the group were covering its activity with military tactical plays.

The Moldavian law enforcers have been tracking the suspicion grouping for more than a year. Its members were dealing with military tactical plays, regular training. At the same time, they had close ties with the mercenaries and militants of the occupied Donbas and Luhansk regions.

The special service conducted 13 searches in Chișinău and its suburbs. They found various elements of military weapons, military equipment, shells and grenade launchers; eight F1 shells, 260 5,45mm bullets, 39 cartridges, GPS-trackers, hand-made explosive device. Besides, during the search, the law enforcers found flags, stripes and insignia used by the militants in the East of Ukraine.

The paramilitary formation had a sever hierarchical structure. All the members had to practice military training and develop fighting skills.

They are detained, the investigation is underway.
