As of June 15, 8,013,919 cases of coronavirus infection were recorded worldwide. This is evidenced by statistics provided by the Worldometers website.

Over the past 24 hours, there have been more than 30,000 cases of coronavirus infection in the world.

The largest number of cases are observed in the United States - more than 2.162 million people. The second place is taken by Brazil, where the number of cases amounts to 867,000.

The third place belongs to Russia with more than 537,000 infected. 83,181 cases are currently reported in China.

As we reported earlier, as of early June 15, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 31,810 cases of Covid-19 disease across the country.  656 new cases have been observed over the last 24 hours. 

According to Ukraine's Healthcare Minister Maksym Stepanov, 901 people have succumbed to the disease since the epidemic reached Ukraine and 14,253 people have successfully recovered.

He also stated that Ukraine's capital city Kyiv and another 10 regions of the country were not ready to ease lockdown restrictions.
