More than 57,400 people were vaccinated against Covid-19 in Ukraine in 24 hours as the Health Ministry of Ukraine reported on Facebook.

53,710 people received the first dose of the vaccine, and 3,730 received the second dose.

The vaccination was held by 502 mobile brigades and 514 vaccination points.

As of June 5, 2021, 635,704 people entered the waiting list for vaccination against Covid-19.

Since the beginning of vaccination, 1, 177,373 people received the first dose; 145,792 finished the immunization.

Over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 1,897 new cases of Covid-19, including 91 children and 65 healthcare workers.

1,065 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 86 patients deceased, and 8,330 recovered. 60,421 tests have been taken.

Most of the confirmed cases have been observed in Kyiv city (497), Kyiv (160), Zaporizhia (138), Dnipropetrovsk (128) and Kharkiv (116) regions.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2,213,580 people have contracted the disease, 2,088,712 have overcome it, 51,140  - have succumbed to it.
