42,308 people were vaccinated against coronavirus in Ukraine on July 10, as the Health Ministry reported.

“42,308 people were vaccinated against Covid-19 on July 10, 2021. 21,074 people received the first dose; 21,234 people finished the immunization,” the message says.

229 mobile brigades, 475 vaccination points and 148 vaccination centers worked during 24 hours.

Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, 2,298,302 were vaccinated: 2,298,300 had one dose; 1,164,676 were fully vaccinated. Totally, 3,462,976 shots were held.

As of July 10, 790,463 have entered the waiting list for vaccination against Covid-19.

Meanwhile, in Ukraine, the number of people infected with Delta Covid-19 strain is likely to increase next week. The number of patients suspected of being infected with the Indian variant of coronavirus has increased. It was stated by the chief sanitary doctor of Ukraine Ihor Kuzin.

"Most likely, next week we will receive the final confirmation of new samples, there are already suspicions of Delta. Therefore, most likely, the numbers of those infected with this strain will be updated," he said.

As of June 23, only two cases of the newest Delta coronavirus strain were detected in Ukraine.
