Another 61 patients died from the complications caused by coronavirus

The Covid-19 incidence grows in Ukraine. 3,663 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Ukraine during the past 24 hours. Particularly, 61 patients died as the Health Ministry of Ukraine reported.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 2,306,939 cases of Covid-19 were registered in Ukraine. 2,217,563 (+1,546 in 24 hours) people recovered and were discharged; while 54,175 (+61 in 24 hours) patients died from the complications caused by the infection.

During the past 24 hours, the majority of the confirmed cases were registered in Kyiv city (379), Lviv (318), Kharkiv (302), Odesa (222) and Dnipropetrovsk (209) regions.

Earlier, the Health Ministry of Ukraine has submitted a proposal to the Cabinet of Ministers to move the country to the "yellow" quarantine zone. Quarantine measures can be strengthened in all regions of Ukraine as early as Monday, September 13.

As we reported, Ukraine will be in the "red" quarantine zone no earlier than November and the lockdown cannot be avoided, according to chief sanitary doctor of Ukraine Ihor Kuzin.
