26,950 people were vaccinated against coronavirus in Ukraine on January 8, the press service of Ministry of Healthcare reports.

7,018 people received the first dose, 17,425 people received the second dose, 314 people received an additional dose, and 2,193 people received a booster dose.

Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign 14,807,336 people have been vaccinated, of whom the first dose - 14,807,334 people, received two doses - 13,968,123 people, received an additional dose - 6,101 people, a booster dose - 18,409 people.

In total, 28,799,967 vaccinations were carried out in the country.

Meanwhile, over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 2,810 new cases of Covid-19, including 163 children and 33 healthcare workers.

840 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 75 patients deceased and 2,818 recovered. 27,075 tests have been taken.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 3,702,473 people have contracted the disease, 3,511,269 have overcome it, 97,239 have succumbed to it.
