Over 200 Ukrainian tourists stuck in Hurghada resort town in Egypt. They should have taken off to Lviv in the morning at 7:20 a.m. on July 28 but the plane had broken down. A tourist Tetiana claimed this to TSN.

'We were told that the plane had a flat tire and it needs to be changed. They promised to bring it from Kyiv but a plane from Kyiv hasn’t arrived as well. We have been kept in the plane for one hour. Later they told to take our things and leave. We have been kept without water and food for two hours in the luggage space in the airport. Later, the people kicked up a racket and we were taken to the hotel,' the woman said.

She said the tourists have been fed only once and promised they would be taken to the airport at 11 o'clock. They got their things ready and gathered in the lobby but no one came after them.

'We were told they don’t know the plane would be ready: tomorrow or the day after. We called the embassy, the hotline of JoinUp tour operator but no one answers... 220 people, many kids and pregnant women are among them. We are just suffering! We are sitting in the lobby on the floor with no food or money because it is the end of the vacation,' Tetiana claimed.

The press office of JoinUp tour operator confirmed the problems with the delay of the flight to

'The flight is delayed because the plane has a flat tire, accordingly, it takes a lot of time to replace the retire, to eliminate the malfunction. The tourists have been provided accommodation and meals,' the company said.

Later, Tetiana claimed that the representative of JointUp provided two buses to get the tourists to the next hotel. People with kids will be taken to the Old Palace Hotel. The Ukrainians are promised a takeoff on Sunday in the morning.
