15,125 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Ukraine during the past 24 hours. Particularly, 314 people died as the Health Ministry of Ukraine reported.

During the past 24 hours, the majority of the confirmed cases were registered in Kharkiv (1,168), Lviv (1,130), Odesa (1,059), Dnipropetrovsk (1,042), and Donetsk (985) regions.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 2,497,643 cases of Covid-19 were registered in Ukraine. 2,277,762 (+4,380 in 24 hours) people recovered and were discharged; while 57,840 (+314) in 24 hours) patients died from the complications caused by the infection. Besides, 3,541 people were hospitalized.

As we reported, the current wave of incidence with coronavirus in Ukraine will grow. At the beginning of October 2021, the number of newly infected persons will increase to 10,000 cases.

Besides, over 90% of the people taken to hospitals in Ukraine are unvaccinated. People aged over 60 make 80 percent of all recorded lethal cases. 98 percent of these are unvaccinated.

Earlier, Health Minister Viktor Lyashko said that the first Ukrainian-made vaccine will appear next year. More precise dates will be announced by the end of the year.
