10,046 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Ukraine during the past 24 hours as the Health Ministry of Ukraine reported.

Particularly, 590 children and 255 medics got infected.

Thus, since the beginning of the pandemic, 3,727,034 cases of Covid-19 were registered in Ukraine. 3,537,826 (+7,202 in 24 hours) people recovered and were discharged; while 97,928 (+191) patients died from the complications caused by the infection. Besides, 1,676 people were hospitalized.

During the past 24 hours, the majority of the cases were registered in Ivano-Frankivsk (983), Lviv (949), and Kharkiv (560) regions, and in Kyiv (997).

As we reported, there is an intention to reduce the validity of certificates of vaccination against coronavirus in Ukraine. The relevant decision was made earlier by the European Commission. From February 1, the validity of certificates, which indicate the receipt of the vaccine against coronavirus, will be reduced to nine months (270 days) in 27 countries of Europe.
