A spike of Covid-19 is observed in Kherson city hospital. Due to that, no patients will be discharged or accepted during the next two weeks, the press office of Kherson regional state administration reports.
The list of categories includes both children and adults, even those who need urgent hospitalization; there are also pregnant women and newborn babies in this list.
Nine people carried the symptoms of Covid-19, including six medical workers and three patients of the intensive care unit.
All patients and medics of the intensive care unit and other units had probes of their biological samples taken - more than 90 pieces. 97 more were taken on August 5. Lab tests are underway.
The local Heart Centre, which is embedded in the hospital, keeps on working. All patients and staff are checked for signs of coronavirus.
Chief Medical Officer of Kherson city hospital said that after the 14-days-long lockdown, the patients will only be discharged if tested negative for Covid-19.
