“Over the past day, 22 cases of Covid-19 disease have been lab-confirmed in the region - according to preliminary information, they reside in Kharkiv, Zachepilovsky, Chuhuivsky, Izyumsky, Zmiivsky and Bogodukhivsky districts. The source of the disease’s origin in some confirmed cases is still being specified. But, as you know now, 11 patients are at the Regional Psychiatric Hospital No. 1 (residents of the Chuhuivsky, Zmiivsky, Izyumsky, Bogodukhivsky, Zachepylivsky districts),” Kucher wrote.
As we reported before, at least 23 people, including 13 disabled children, were infected with the coronavirus in the orphanage of the Belarusian city of Glusk.
More than 170 children and young people are there, many with serious disorders and a weakened immune system.
Adi Rocher, founder of the Chornobyl Children's Charity, says the orphanage lacks medication for treatment. The orphanage asked the government to transport the children.
