On Friday, October 21, in Kyiv near the Akademmistechko subway station law enforcement officers detained the commander of the OUN volunteer battalion Mykola Kohanivsky. This was reported by his wife Kateryna, reports Gromadske TV.

According to her, this happened after a fight of her hysband with Ruslan Kachmala (call sign "Rem"). The first used traumatic weapons.

"We were near the subway, yesterday they buried our brother. Ruslan Rem met us and threatened my husband and provoked him, then they started to fight," she said.

His wife also added that Kachmala began to run, and Kohanivsky caught up with him, a fight broke out and he took out a traumatic gun and fired.

"He (Rem) has a wound of a hand or a leg," she said. Soon the head of the patrol police of the capital Roman Zozulia confirmed that Kohanivsky was detained. According to Zozulia, man was detauned by a police officer on the day of his weekend. He was walking and heard the shooting.

The status of the victim is currently unknown.
