The 12th Odesa International Film Festival will be held in a new format: it will mark the 30th anniversary of Ukraine's independence with an emphasis on national cinematography.
According to the event's Facebook page, the renewed festival will have one nomination program - the National Competition (full and short meter), the winners of which will receive awards for best film, best director, and best acting.
As we reported earlier, the premiere of the Ukrainian film "Stop-Zemlia" will take place at the 71st Berlin International Film Festival.
Stop-Zemlia is a sensual autobiographical story about exploring yourself. 16-year-old Masha studies in an ordinary Kyiv school. Close friends Yana and Senya help her not to feel strange and detached in the team, experiencing busy school life in their own way.
In addition to future exams, Masha is forced to fall out of her comfort zone by falling in love with her classmate Sasha. She understands that if you do not dare - you will never know if there is something in return.
