Organizers of Eurovision 2019 stop sailing of tickets

The organizers of Eurovision 2019, which will take place in Israel, have stopped the sale of the tickets for the show as The Jerusalem Post reported.

It is noted that KAN broadcaster, which is responsible for the holding of the competition, made such decision after the explosion of “the attempt of different sides of interference in the sale process”. Particularly, it turned out that the best seats were provided to the cultural and sports figures.

According to DW, Minister of Internal Security of Israel Gilad Erdan ordered the police to hold investigation. According to the ministry, it got the messages about the mass sale and further resale of the tickers on the prices increased 2,5 times; however, the tickets are not cheap.

The 64th Eurovision Song Contest will be taking place at the Expo Tel Aviv (International Convention Center) in Israel in May 2019. The final is scheduled for May 18.

As we reported, singer Anna Korsun (Maruv) would not present Ukraine at the song contest “Eurovision 2019”. Maruv said that she was forced to refuse from the participation in the contest from Ukraine due to her tour in Russia.

On February 27, it was reported that Ukraine will not send its representative to Eurovision-2019, which to be held in Israel.

Besides, the National Television Company of Ukraine will broadcast Eurovision 2019, which is going to take place in Tel Aviv, despite the decision of Ukraine to refuse from the participation in the contest. However, the Ukrainians will not be able to vote for the singers.
