Entry-exit checkpoint in Donbas

In Donbas, from September 1, operations at the entry-exit checkpoints will be carried out daily from 07:00 to 18:30, but citizens will not be allowed to enter the occupied territories after 18:00. This was reported by the press service of the State Border Guard Service.

"According to the order of the commander of the Joint Forces Operation, the entry-exit checkpoints will switch to the autumn work schedule starting from September 1," the statement said.

It is noted that citizens traveling from the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine will undergo non-contact body temperature screening and a survey on contact with Covid-19 patients.

As we reported earlier, the queues occurred at the Ukrainian border with Hungary and Romania.

The lines observed at the checkpoints Chop (Tysa), Luzhanka, and Dyakove.

“The increase in time for passing the control is tied with extra measures of control to prevent the spread of the coronavirus implemented by Hungary and Romania,” the message said.

From September 1, Hungary changes rules of entrance for Ukrainian citizens.
