Onuka's music video for the song Zenit, which previously appeared in the popular dance game Just Dance, was nominated for Best Music Video at the ARFF Barcelona International Film Festival.
This was reported on the band's Instagram page.
“Creating the video for the Zenit track, we hoped that it would help open our eyes to the beauty of the world around us. We are glad that it was appreciated abroad and nominated for the title of Best Music Video at the ARFF Barcelona International Film Festival,” the message says.
The names of the winners will be announced on March 25.
The song Zenit was presented in the summer of 2019, and in December of the same year, its video clip was released. Many folk instruments can be heard in the song: cymbals, bandura, drymba, trembita. The video was directed by Yevhen Filatov. And the fabulous images for the video were created by the Ukrainian costume designer Lesya Patoka from the material found in the capital's second-hand shops. In this way, the group wanted to highlight the importance of conscious consumption and recycling in our time.
