Most Ukrainians who are newly infected with coronavirus tolerate the disease easily, but 20% of patients need hospitalization. Oksana Koshalko, an epidemiologist at the Center for Public Health of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, said this on the TV program Freedom Live.
"80% are mild forms of morbidity. More than 20% of patients from all reported cases do not need hospitalization. And only 5% need intensive care," she said.
According to Oksana Koshalko, since the same increase in the disease is not registered throughout Ukraine, but only in certain areas, it is not advisable to impose strict quarantine throughout the country.
