One of Ukrainians injured in Hungary is in coma, there is threat to his life, - embassy

The Ukrainian Embassy in Hungary has confirmed the information on the 13 injured Ukrainians in a traffic accident in Hungary.

"On August 11, an accident with a minibus (for unknown reasons, it ran off the road and rolled over), which transported Ukrainian citizens, occurred on the territory of the Nograd region (Hungary), on 59 km of the road No. 2. 13 Ukrainian citizens and a driver, a citizen Hungary, suffered in the incident" reads statement posted on the agency's website.

According to the embassy, all the victims were provided with the first medical aid, they were hospitalized with various injuries. In particular, 8 citizens of Ukraine suffered serious injuries. There are no dead as a result of the accident.

"13 injured citizens were hospitalized in Budapest, Vats and Balashadymat hospitals, seven injured persons were allowed to leave the hospital, the rest are in hospitals, one in a state of coma (the threat of life remains). - is added in the message.

The Ukrainian Embassy in Hungary assures that it will keep the situation under control. Now, diplomats are establishing contact with relatives of the victims and are in contact with health facilities.
