Today, one million of the Ukrainians work in Poland, however, only 300, of them registered in the pension system. Andry Reva, the Minister of the Social Policy of Ukraine claimed this at the video-conference in DS.
"Officially, one million of the Ukrainians work in Poland as for today. But only 300, 000 registered in the Compulsory State Social Insurance of the pension system," he claimed.
He also specified that there is a great problem in the process of the migration.
"People are sent from Ukraine to Poland in the so-called working travel. But as soon as they get the permission for work there, here they are dismissed and nobody is insured there. However, as they do not pay the insurance contributions, the insurance period is not accrued. If they return to Ukraine, they will have no right for pension both in Ukraine and Poland," the minister said.
He also added that there is a lack of the specialists in Ukraine.
"Today we already feel the deficit, first of all of the qualified workers. If this tendency continues, we will have the lack of personnel, even not qualified," Reva claimed.
According to the minister, up to seven million of the Ukrainians involved in the seasonal labor migration, 3.2 million work abroad. He is also sure that migrant will remember that they are Ukrainians when they see the financial gain.
"That is why the wages rise. Last year the nominal wage grew by 37%, the real one by 19%. During five months of 2018, the nominal wage grew by 31%, the real one by 11%."
