One died, seven got injured in car accident in Zhytomyr region

On December 24, as a result of the car accident near Denyshi village, Zhytomyr region, one man died, and seven more sustained injuries; the press office of the National Police in Zhytomyr region reported that. 

‘The accident occurred at about 3:30 p.m. on the 21st kilometer of the highway near Denyshi village. The investigation established that the driver of the Opel Astra, 41-year-old resident of Kyiv, drove on oncoming traffic line and crashed into the VAZ 2104 steered by the 26-year-old resident of Zhytomyr,’ reads the message.

As a result, the passenger of the VAZ, 31-year-old resident of Zhytomyr deceased. The drivers of both cars and passengers of the Opel, including three children aged from six to nine were delivered to a hospital. 

All circumstances and causes, which made the accident happen, are being investigated.
