"It is okay with me to continue participating in projects. Maybe in scenes with more words. I find it really interesting. I dive into the role, empathize with it. To be honest, I already have a script for the film! I wrote it myself. I have kept a diary, in which I write down all the important moments of my life, for a long time. And there are four such diaries," Usyk said.
"This is almost a ready-made scenario in compliance with my biography. Moreover, I'm ready to play myself if someone dares to make such a film. After all, as they say, if you want to do well, do it yourself. It seems to me that if I work and learn acting, I will be able to repeat all the important events of my life again. I will be able to be completely different - both funny and serious and sad," the boxer added.
As we reported earlier, Ukrainian heavyweight Oleksandr Usyk will not become the next opponent of WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO champion Anthony Joshua. This was stated by the head of the promotion company Top Rank, Inc. Bob Arum.
Kubrat Pulev, the IBF mandatory challenger, is expected to fight Joshua next.
After being asked if Pulev gets a shot at Joshua before the mandatory for WBO (Usyk –ed.), Arum said: “Yes, Pulev is going to be the next one. IBF’s history with mandatory defenses is in books. So Pulev fight would come first, and then – Usyk”.
