The frontman of Vopli Vidoplyasova band Oleg Skrypka released a solo video for single "Two Colors." This is an English version of the famous Ukrainian song "Dva Kolyory" written by Dmytro Pavlychko.
Oleg Skrypka was born in the year of creation of "Two Colors" - that's why this composition has a special meaning for the performer. Skrypka believes that any inhabitant of our planet can understand the values that are laid down and expressed in "Two Colors" - and thus he contributes to their spread.
The author of the video was Ukrainian director Olena Vyniarska. Together with Oleg Skrypka, they created an unexpected and stylish film adaptation of an unforgettable song, the lines of which every Ukrainian knows.
The video adapts two national colors - red and black - to a more urban lifestyle, "modernizing" the traditional ethno-code.
