"According to the analysis and modeling of a possible option of Covid-2019 coronavirus spread in Ukraine, conducted by National Security and Defense Council, persons aged 10 to 39 years are in the area of the lowest risk, for which the probability of disease is 0.2%. For 40-49-year-olds - 0.3%, respectively, for 50-59-year-olds - 1.3%, for 60-69-year-olds - 3.4%, for 70-79-year-olds - 7.8%. 80+, the figure is 13.5%," the report says.
As we reported earlier, on March 13, the first death of a person infected with a coronavirus was recorded in Ukraine.
A 71-year-old woman from the Zhytomyr region who was hospitalized on March 12, with a laboratory-confirmed case of Covid-19 died on the next day.
The Ministry noted that the woman was in the group of risk.
The relatives of the woman and persons whom she contacted with stay under the supervision of doctors.
