Older men prevail among Covid-19 fatalities in Ukraine, - Healthcare Ministry

As of late April 28, 239 lethal cases from Covid-19 were observed in Ukraine. Most of the victims were men, and the people aged over 50. Ukraine's Healthcare Ministry reported that. 

Among the deceased are 132 men and 107 women. In terms of the age structure, 85 percent of all cases are the people over 50.

The overwhelming majority of the dead also suffered from cardiovascular diseases, pancreatic diabetes, malformations, diseases of kidneys and lungs. Some patients had several of the listed illnesses.

Over the last 24 hours, the number of those infected with Covid-19 in Ukraine increased by 401. As of April 28, there were 9,419 lab-confirmed cases. 239 people deceased, and 992 patients recovered.

Previously, a pug who resides in the U.S. became the first dog patient to be infected with coronavirus. Jerusalem Post wrote that, referring to the American Humane Society.

It's the first dog in the U.S. who had this dangerous disease confirmed by scientists.

According to the animals rights activists, the dog must have caught the disease from someone of the family members he lived with - a man, a woman and their son. However, the illness seems to have bypassed the daughter, the cat and another dog in the same family.
