Ukraine's State Border Guard workers detained the 71-year-old lady carrying two bottles of drugs; the incident occurred at Hoptivka checkpoint in Kharkiv region, northern Ukraine, as the woman tried to cross the Ukrainian-Russian border. Press office of State Border Guard reported that on December 15.
Initially, a service dog trained to search drugs went nervous, and Border Guards searched the bag that the woman was showing to the dog. There was nothing inside.
Then, the operatives continued to search the woman. It appeared that she carried two little bottles packed with 430 grams of narcotic substance. The lady hid the bottles under her upper clothes, in the inside pockets of her sweater jacket. The woman said she did not know what she was carrying across the border.
The woman and the cargo were handed over to workers of law enforcement agencies. The expertise is underway.
