The official trailer for Antonio Lukich's comedy "My Thoughts Are Silent", which was considered a discovery of the year as a part of the National film-critics award "Kinokolo", was put on the Internet.
"My Thoughts are quiet" is the director's debut feature film, starring Irma Vitovskaya and Andrii Lidagovsky.
The script is based on the story of a young sound engineer, for whom recording of the Transcarpathian animals' voices may be a chance to move to Canada. However, this task is much more complicated when his mom becomes the main companion in the new job.
The film is expected to be released on January 2, 2020.
"My Thoughts Are Silent" was displayed for the first time in the East of West section of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, where it was awarded the Special Jury Prize. Ukrainian premiere took place at the Odesa International Film Festival, where Lukich's work received the Audience Award, the FIPRESCI Award for Best Ukrainian Film, the Best Actor Award (Irma Vitovskaya) and a special jury mention (Andrii Lidagovsky).
As we reported earlier, Nariman Aliyev's feature film "Homeward", the winner of the National film-critics award "Kinokolo", also won two awards at the VII International Bosphorus Film Festival in Istanbul. This was reported on the official Facebook page of the movie.
