Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine initiated a criminal case against the former Director of the State Bureau of Investigation, Roman Truba, MP Oleksiy Honcharenko reports, citing the Office.
The case against Truba was brought on December 13, under the articles "Interference with activity of a law enforcement officer" and "Disclosure of information on pretrial investigation or inquiry".
"Records from Truba’s cabinet, which have been made public, prove that the former head of the department repeatedly and cynically violated the law. In this case, just dismissal is not enough. I think that an unbiased investigation into the actions of Truba and other figurants is a matter of honor for law enforcement officers," Oleksiy Honcharenko wrote.
